New Braunfels Community Emergency Response Team (NBCERT) is a volunteer program sponsored by the city of New Braunfels Office of Emergency Management. Members are called upon to assist in city events and emergencies. NBCERT trains to support city emergency management, first responders and the community when activated.

New Braunfels Search & Rescue
NBSAR is on call 24/7, 365 days a year. Our team is ready to help agencies in wilderness, evidence and other missions. Our team is trained to National Association of Search & Rescue standards.
The CERT Foundation is a not-for-profit organization comprised of volunteers who raise money through grants, fund raisers and corporate sponsorships for training programs and supplies for our CERT & SAR teams.

In the event of a disaster, civilian support is best received by the community when they’re properly trained. New Braunfels CERT is that avenue for people to get trained and be involved in the process – helping to protect the community, as well as their families.
