New Braunfels CERT Foundation, the nonprofit organization that funds the NBCERT/NBSAR programs, is excited to “Kick” off our shoe drive fundraiser!
Closets are the best place to start your Spring cleaning, and New Braunfels CERT is partnering with Funds2Orgs to help you repurpose your gently used or new (I’m never gonna wear those) shoes while helping raise money so NBCERT can continue to provide support to Search & Rescue, Disaster Response, Public Service and Training Events, not only in our local community, but the greater Hill Country region as well.
Talk to your neighbors and friends, and bag up those gently worn, used and new shoes. If you have a large collection to donate, we can schedule to pick them up from you, or you can drop them off at any one of the many locations around town. Our goal is to collect more than 2,500 pairs of shoes, so start cleaning out those closets!
New Braunfels drop off locations include:

- Burn Boot Camp
- City Hall
- Das Rec
- Family Mattress & Furniture
- NB Library
- Office Depot
- The Perky Peacock
- Two Rivers Running
If you have a lot of shoes, and don’t want to carry them to one of our drop off locations, you can reach out to Jennifer at 425-367-9558 to schedule a pick-up.
You have the chance to make a local AND global difference. The shoes collected will be sent to micro-enterprise partners throughout developing nations providing sustainable jobs, employment opportunities and much needed income for these families.
Our shoe drive will run through April 22, or when the Funds2Orgs truck arrives.
